RESTAURANT MANAGER

The restaurant manager supports and assists the general manager, to ensure the successful operation of the entire restaurant. At Wings, the restaurant manager:

  • Is responsible for the overall restaurant
  • Prepares schedules, and is conscious of labour management
  • Ensures guest satisfaction and service recovery
  • Is responsible for compliance with all company standards and health codes
  • Is responsible for the cleanliness of the restaurant
  • Trains, develops, and coaches all supervisors and staff
  • Assists the GM in growing the business and building a strong restaurant team
  • Prepares performance appraisals for supervisors & staff (with input from supervisors) for review with GM
  • Hires all levels of staff with GM oversight
  • Addresses disciplinary issues and issue documentation after reviewing with GM
  • Manages the communications to restaurant staff (with the assistance of supervisors)
  • Conscious of food management and ordering
